KATABUI -In the heart of Okinawa
Original Music for a documentary showed at Nippon Connection (Frankfurt) in 2016.
Inspired by a fantastic album by Yasukatsu Oshima and Geoffrey Keezer, I decided to focus on a few instruments, mostly piano and sanshin (a 3-stringed lute) to find the colour I wanted for the soundtrack.
Except on Tinsagu nu Hana, I play the sanshin myself.
